Homeschool support groups in your state are an excellent way to gain more assistance and guidance in your homeschooling endeavors. A regional support group fosters a wonderful sense of community among homeschooling families and allows for more opportunities to exchange ideas, plan group outings, and share in the overall experience of homeschooling! DCHSE provides homeschooling support for families in Escanaba, Gladstone, and surrounding areas. Member benefits include monthly newsletters, e-mail updates, field trips, and monthly programs.
Based in Ann Arbor, this association is a parent-run co-op, providing academic and enrichment classes for homeschooled children grades K–12.
Since 1984, this organization’s mission has been to serve families interested or involved in home education by providing the information, resources, and encouragement needed to teach their children at home in the state of Michigan and to work to ensure the continued freedom to do so.
