    The Galena City School District (IDEA) Calvert Academy has offered a tuition-free accredited homeschool program to Alaskan families since 1997, and the curriculum is custom tailored to best support each student.
  • Yukon-Koyukuk School District
    Committed to meeting the needs of all students, Yukon-Koyukuk School District offers the full Calvert curriculum and extra-curricular programs to support Alaska parents as they educate their children at home, all tuition-free.

Calvert Homeschool

A homeschool pioneer — we began providing courses for home study in 1906 — Calvert has both a full curriculum and enrichment courses for grades pre-K–8. Calvert's homeschool program features:

Verticy Learning is a specialized program for children in grades 3–8 with dyslexia, other language-based learning difficulties or any student who struggles with reading, writing, spelling or math. Program options include a full homeschool curriculum, or after school and weekend enrichments.
