Calvert Students – ONE WORD
In a recent post on the Calvert Facebook Page, we asked Calvert Parents to describe their child using only ONE WORD.
While this started off as a fun social media game, we were amazed at the wonderful responses we received as our families posted one word to describe each of their children. We have some incredible students out there!
After reviewing the responses, we knew we had to find a way to publish the results for all to see. And that’s when we found a great FREE tool called Tagul. We used Tagul to create the above image.
“Tagul is a web service that enables you to create gorgeous tag clouds (aka word clouds) that you can place on your webpage or share with friends. Tagul clouds have numerous advantages against ordinary text clouds like words inside words feature, fancy fonts, various cloud shapes, customizable colors, etc. It makes Tagul clouds look so gorgeous.”
One of the BEST features of Tagul, differentiating it from other word cloud tools, is that you can create word clouds and make each word a clickable hyperlink. As educators, our first though was, “Research projects!”
