Idaho Homeschool Support Groups

Homeschool support groups in your state are an excellent way to gain more assistance and guidance in your homeschooling endeavors. A regional support group fosters a wonderful sense of community among homeschooling families and allows for more opportunities to exchange ideas, plan group outings, and share in the overall experience of homeschooling! While Calvert supports the development of community among homeschooling families, this list does not constitute affiliation between Calvert Education and the groups represented below.

CHRISTIAN HOMESCHOOLERS OF IDAHO STATE (CHOIS)

CHOIS is a nonprofit, volunteer organization that seeks, under the Lord Jesus Christ, to encourage and equip parents to fulfill their God-given right to educate their children at home.

INLAND NORTHWEST CHRISTIAN HOMESCHOOLERS (INCH)

INCH is a Christian co-op and support group serving homeschoolers in Coeur d’Alene and surrounding areas. INCH is not a drop-off program or a school, but a co-op run solely by volunteer moms and dads. We offer homeschool students from preschool through high school an assortment of academic and enrichment classes and social activities to supplement their homeschooling experience, as well as classes and workshops to encourage and support homeschooling moms.

PORT CITIES HOME EDUCATORS

Port Cities Home Educators offers daily email updates, Park Day, monthly support meetings, field trips, co-op classes, statewide and local graduation ceremonies, and more! It serves Lewiston/Clarkston and surrounding areas.
