Homeschool support groups in your state are an excellent way to gain more assistance and guidance in your homeschooling endeavors. A regional support group fosters a wonderful sense of community among homeschooling families and allows for more opportunities to exchange ideas, plan group outings, and share in the overall experience of homeschooling! While Calvert supports the development of community among homeschooling families, this list does not constitute affiliation between Calvert Education and the groups represented below.
ENOCH is an organization that consists of like-minded Christians dedicated to observing the biblical commands of Deuteronomy 6:4–10, Proverbs 22:6, and Ephesians 6:4. We promote home education as the scriptural design for education, whereas institutional education is the alternative to the home. We believe that every family has the God-given, legal, and constitutional right to home education in the state of New Jersey, regardless of their philosophy of education or religious affiliation.
NJHA exists to protect the homeschooling freedoms of all New Jersey citizens and to maintain a favorable homeschooling climate in the state. NJHA will act as a statewide information clearinghouse for active and potential New Jersey homeschoolers and others interested in homeschooling, and will attempt to monitor and address legislative and other encroachments on homeschooling freedoms.
NJHA is an inclusive, nonpartisan organization that serves homeschoolers regardless of religion, race, ethnic heritage, disability, method of homeschooling, or other characteristic or distinction.
This group is open to all homeschoolers and those who are considering doing so in the future. We are an eclectic group who embrace diversity! All people, regardless of religion, race, or beliefs are welcome to join. We are an all-inclusive group and enjoy the diversity of ideas, events, and experiences for our children.
We are committed to providing FUN, interesting, social, and informational opportunities for all homeschooling parents and their children in and around northern New Jersey. Most of our events are in Morris, Passaic, and Bergen Counties although we do sometimes have events throughout NJ, NY, PA, and CT.
