Kentucky Homeschool Support Groups

Homeschool support groups in your state are an excellent way to gain more assistance and guidance in your homeschooling endeavors. A regional support group fosters a wonderful sense of community among homeschooling families and allows for more opportunities to exchange ideas, plan group outings, and share in the overall experience of homeschooling! While Calvert supports the development of community among homeschooling families, this list does not constitute affiliation between Calvert Education and the groups represented below.

BLUEGRASS HOMESCHOOL LEARNING CO-OPERATIVE, INC.

Bluegrass Homeschool Learning Co-operative, Inc. is a secular, inclusive, nonprofit group that offers support and opportunities to all homeschooling families in the Lexington area. We offer classes as well as clubs, field trips, and social gatherings for parents and children. There is no fee for membership, but cooperative and voluntary help by all members is encouraged.

CHRISTIAN HOMESCHOOL NETWORK OF KENTUCKY

Christian Homeschool Network of Kentucky is a network of homeschooling families based in Winchester. Our goals are to provide an avenue for communication and promote fellowship among homeschooling families in central Kentucky.

LEXINGTON HOMESCHOOLERS

Lexington Homeschoolers is a support network in the central Kentucky area. We are an inclusive group offering support to anyone regardless of religion, race, or homeschooling method. We are a secular (not religiously affiliated) group valuing diversity, creativity, and open mindedness. Our members choose a wide range of approaches to homeschooling, including classical, eclectic, Waldorf, and unschooling, but are united by our common love of our children. This list is a place for parents to share items of local interest, including field trips, classes, and social opportunities. Any member can feel free to sponsor a homeschool activity and open it up to the group. New members are welcome.
